THE PRODUCT :
DIEDRESS-5 is a Water Base Diecoat required for Pressure Die castings
of Aluminum and Zinc Based Alloys. DIEDRESS-5 is mainly mineral
oil and water emulsion.
FUNCTION :
DIEDRESS-5 acts as a Thermo-regulation agent. It is used for Die
cooling and easy release of Aluminum and Zinc Based Castings.
APPLICATION METHOD : It is to be diluted with Water @ 1:50 to 80 as per intricacy
of casting. Stir well before use. It is to be applied by Spraying.
ADVANTAGES : Prevents Soldering of the castings to the Die.
Protection of Costly die from direct attack of melt .
Thermoregulation of Die surface.
Improves productivity.
Easy stripping of casting with good surface finish.
PRECAUTIONS : Dilution ratio for intricate castings should be low. For dilution,
Deionised water is advisable in ‘Hard Water’
areas.
