THE PRODUCT :
CRAFTCOTE-ZA Powder is a Zircon rich coating from the Craftcote range of foundry coatings.

PRODUCT FUNCTION :
CRAFTCOTE-ZA Powder has the following advantages as a versatile foundry coating mainly for Steel, Alloy Steel, Cast Iron and non-ferrous metal industries.
CRAFTCOTE –ZA Powder has good refractoriness, good binding properties.

 
     
 
APPLICATION :

Mix the product CRAFTCOTE – ZA POWDER with water in 1:1 ( Product : Water ) ratio & soak for ½ hour and then use the material for overpouring / dipping application on No bake / cold box / shell core / oil cores.

For overpouring /dipping, dilute the product by 1: 1 (Product : water) ratio.

After applying coating, air dry it (core / mould) for 10 to 20 minutes and then dry in oven at 150° C to 160° C for 20 minutes or by torching.

The physical properties of CRAFTCOTE – ZA are as follows :
Colour Off white
Apperance Powder
Specific Gravity on 1:1 ( P : W ) 1.50 to 1.650 @ 27 ± 3°Cv
Viscosity by B4 Cup on dilution 1: 1 (P : W) 25 to 35 secs. @ 27± 3°C

Coating on CB / NB core by Overpouring / dipping application on 1:1 (P:W) dilution

No peel off / No cracks
